Overcode works with clients worldwide, providing full-cycle software development services — from idea and design to development, integration, and support of finished products. The team helps startups, scale-up companies, and businesses create technological solutions ready for scaling.

Overcode hired us to improve their website ranking in Google, increase the number of mentions in LLM system responses, and strengthen the brand’s position in the web and mobile application development niches. The final goal was to increase the number of SQL leads on the website. The main channel was intended to be organic traffic. Main tasks:

  • Develop an SEO strategy for 1 year and decomposition into small sprints;
  • expand and improve the website structure: create new commercial pages to close identified blind spots in the website structure;
  • increase the total number of leads: get more inquiries through the website.
  • 1 Achieve Top 10 rankings (US, UK) for core commercial search queries
  • 2 Improve brand visibility in AI-driven search results
  • 3 Generate 2–4 SQLs within 6 months.

Strategy of SEO promotion

We started with a technical audit of the website, an assessment of rankings in Google and Bing, as well as competitor analysis. This allowed us to identify growth opportunities: we realized that the site could cover more target queries by scaling its structure and adding new pages.

Our goal is to position Overcode as an expert in web and mobile application development, providing clients with comprehensive answers to their queries. At the same time, every step of the visitor’s journey should guide them toward making a decision to cooperate.

Together with the optimization of commercial pages, case studies, and blog content, this simultaneously helps maintain the website’s visibility for general IT topics while also covering highly specific business needs. The purpose of this logic is to improve rankings and convert targeted traffic into leads.

Our experience in SEO для IT-outsourcing allowed us to immediately account for the shift of search results toward AI-driven systems. Therefore, the strategy included content structured in a way that enables AI systems to identify Overcode as an expert source. Why? This brings targeted traffic from ChatGPT, Gemini, and other LLMs.

To achieve our goals and KPIs agreed with the client, a comprehensive approach was required. At the core was a deep SEO audit of the website, and the strategy then expanded in three directions: creating niche content, strengthening E-E-A-T pages, and building a high-quality backlink profile to increase Overcode’s authority.

  • implemented a link-building strategy: backlink profile - from business directories to listicles;
  • optimized content for AI and LLMs for better recognition and citation by AI systems;
  • added E-E-A-T elements to increase expertise and improve rankings;
  • developed a content strategy: 6-month publishing plan for the blog/website;
  • expanded the structure: from blog development to adding new commercial pages.

Conclusions

  • After 4 months from the start of cooperation, the website began to consistently generate 2–3 SQLs per month thanks to newly created commercial pages
  • Strong ranking growth dynamics were observed on new pages, and they started to account for a significant share of leads (after several indexing cycles).
  • The implemented link-building strategy significantly increased the site's backlink profile.
